A bit about my credentials: I hold an MBA in Business Admin with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. I got my degrees from Point Loma Nazarene University and from Ashford University… however no one really cares about that.
What people do care about is what I have done with my life since college.
For the first few years I was involved in the auditing of broker originated mortgage real estate transitions by day and by evenings and weekends I was learning the basics of search engine optimization in my spare time.
Over the years I became adept at building websites and getting search traffic to them and by 2011 I left the banking industry and started part-time on my websites from home via content marketing while I cared for my kids full time.
As years have past I have settled into full time self-employment as a web-based educator in the areas of my life that I actually care about and have an interest in.
I own a small collection of websites that all mean something to me and on each and every one of those websites I teach people how to do the things I care about and I fully educate them on the products that are required in those interest spaces.
I am a semi-professional bowler for instance and I run a small website where I educate people on various aspects of bowling both recreationally and in competition.
I love my lawn right behind my wife, family, and God. I care deeply about giving my family the best outside space to spend our days and as such I run a website where I teach other people how to do that too.
Morning wouldn’t be the same without coffee and I know more about that drink and how its made than the average Joe. I also run web based business education readers and viewers on YouTube about making coffee and brewing it too.
I wear braces, I educate new people to the world of braces on another site of mine. I like making ginger shots at home and educate people on the art of juicing from your own kitchen. I also am the first defender of our home office and instead of wasting my knowledge I run this site as a well.
I have seed the “home offices” of many friends and family and I know from personal experience that most people’s home offices look like a large junk drawer. Mine did too until it got bad enough to do something about it.
As most people do I started with organization and document destruction first and this newfound passion of mine has turned into this educational business of mine where I teach other people how to organize, shred, store, and deal with the paper that oftentimes floods our home office locations.
I do all my work from home and all product reviews or comparisons I ever write about or make videos about are on products that I have personal experience owning and using. In most cases all products I feature on this site and my others are the products I’ve actually purchased with my own money on my own accord.
I’ve found through experience that my readers and viewers over on YouTube appreciate this aspect of my business a lot and it allows me the freedom to actually provide information that people are craving; information that can’t be found on the side of a box or in the marketing materials provided by product or service based companies.
I hope you will find my material trustworthy and helpful – sure, I like to be paid but if I wasn’t being helpful to you, the end consumer of my content then this would be a pointless endeavor.
